Free-form Shape Optimization

Free-Form Shape Optimization is a computational methodology within shape optimization that enables the unrestricted, topology-preserving deformation of boundaries through continuous and differentiable parameterizations, distinguishing it from discrete or topology-constrained approaches by allowing arbitrary, smooth geometric modifications to achieve optimal performance under given physical constraints.
