Fraudulent Transfers

Fraudulent Transfers is a legal doctrine in bankruptcy and debtor–creditor law that designates as avoidable any transfer of a debtor’s property made before bankruptcy either with actual intent to hinder, delay, or defraud creditors or for less than reasonably equivalent value while the debtor is insolvent or thereby rendered financially impaired, so that the value of the transfer may be recaptured for the benefit of the estate.
