Framework Grain Composition

Framework Grain Composition is a petrological characterization in clastic sedimentology that specifies the relative abundances of primary mineralogical and lithic components within the granular skeleton of a clastic sediment or sedimentary rock, distinguishing it from other compositional analyses by focusing exclusively on grains exceeding the clay fraction and their provenance-sensitive attributes.
