Frame Forwarding
Frame Forwarding is a network communication process in which a switch or bridge, as part of a Local Area Network, directs a data frame to a specific destination port based on the frame's destination MAC address, distinguishing it from other forwarding mechanisms by its reliance on link-layer address resolution and forwarding table lookup.
