Fourier Transform Interferometry

Fourier Transform Interferometry is an interferometric technique that belongs to the class of spectral measurement methods, distinguished by its use of a Michelson interferometer to record an interference pattern as a function of optical path difference, followed by a Fourier transform to extract the spectral intensity distribution of the input light.
