Four-way Coupling

Four-Way Coupling is a computational modeling framework in particle-laden flows that accounts for the bidirectional momentum exchange between the dispersed particles and the continuous fluid phase, including the modulation of turbulence by particle-induced velocity fluctuations and the collective back-effect of particles on the fluid through inter-particle collisions and resolved wakes.
