Foundation Rotation

Foundation Rotation is a foundational diachronic shift in academic research whereby a previously established paper-level contribution—such as a method, model, framework, theory, construct, dataset, task, or metric—undergoes sustained reinterpretation, iterative refinement, or contextual reapplication that redirects its core theoretical or empirical trajectory within its parent domain.
