Fouling Propensity

Fouling Propensity is a quantitative metric that characterizes the inherent tendency of a solute, particle, or feed stream to deposit onto and adhere to a membrane surface under specified operating conditions, thereby distinguishing it from general fouling phenomena by quantifying the material-specific or system-specific likelihood of fouling initiation and development.
