Form Factors

Form Factors is a dimensionless hydrodynamic coefficient used in resistance scaling laws to quantify the ratio of total viscous resistance of a ship hull to the viscous resistance of a flat plate of equivalent length and wetted surface area, accounting for the additional pressure and viscous effects caused by the hull's three-dimensional form.
