Fog Remote Sensing
Fog Remote Sensing is a methodological framework within atmospheric observation techniques that employs satellite, airborne, or ground-based sensors to detect, monitor, and characterize the spatial distribution, temporal evolution, and microphysical properties of fog, distinguishing it from in situ measurements by enabling non-intrusive, large-scale, and continuous surveillance of fog events, particularly in complex terrains such as mountainous regions.
