Fog Nowcasting

Fog Nowcasting is a forecasting methodology that distinguishes itself by providing high-resolution, short-term predictions of fog formation, persistence, and dissipation over marine and coastal regions, typically within a 0–6 hour time horizon, through real-time integration of observational data, numerical weather prediction models, and often machine learning techniques to address the rapidly evolving dynamics of marine fog systems.
