Fock Operator

The Fock operator is a one-electron Hamiltonian-like operator in Hartree-Fock theory that incorporates the kinetic energy, nuclear attraction, and average electron-electron interaction effects through the Coulomb and exchange operators, distinguishing it from the bare electronic Hamiltonian by accounting for the self-consistent mean field of the other electrons.
