Flux Approximation
Flux Approximation is a numerical technique within mixed finite element methods that belongs to the class of vector field reconstruction strategies, distinguished by its specific construction of an accurate, locally conservative approximation of the flux variable (e.g., stress, velocity, or current) through the use of appropriate finite element spaces and weak continuity conditions.
