Fluid Saturation Estimation is a quantitative petrophysical method used in open hole logging to determine the proportion of pore space occupied by individual fluids, such as water, oil, or gas, by integrating electrical resistivity and nuclear magnetic resonance measurements to differentiate fluid types and their saturation levels in subsurface formations.
