Flow Separation Analysis
Flow Separation Analysis is a diagnostic methodology in experimental aerodynamics that identifies and characterizes the locations, extents, and mechanisms of boundary layer detachment from a solid surface under aerodynamic loading, thereby distinguishing itself from general flow field analysis by focusing specifically on the onset and development of separated flows in wind-tunnel testing.
