Flow Regime Analysis

Flow Regime Analysis is a methodological framework within reservoir performance evaluation that distinguishes itself by systematically identifying, characterizing, and interpreting the dominant fluid flow behaviors over time in subsurface systems—particularly in complex media such as naturally fractured reservoirs and shale oil reservoirs under single-phase flow conditions—based on diagnostic plots of pressure and pressure derivative responses.
