Flat Plate Boundary Layers
Flat Plate Boundary Layers is a canonical boundary layer flow model that describes the viscous fluid region adjacent to a flat, solid surface where flow velocity transitions from zero at the surface to the free-stream value, distinguished by its two-dimensional, incompressible, laminar or turbulent flow over an uncurved plate with negligible pressure gradient.
