Flashover

Flashover is a critical transition phase in compartment fire behavior, classified within fire dynamics and fire safety, wherein a fire rapidly escalates to involve all combustible surfaces in an enclosed space simultaneously due to thermal radiation feedback, distinguished from other fire progression stages by the onset of uniform high-temperature conditions and full-room involvement.
