Flamelet Theory

Flamelet Theory is a combustion modeling framework that represents turbulent non-premixed flames as an ensemble of laminar flame structures, distinguished by its reliance on the assumption that small-scale turbulence-flame interactions can be described by one-dimensional laminar flame solutions parameterized by scalar dissipation rate.
