Firn Column Models

Firn Column Models is a computational framework that simulates the evolution of density, temperature, and microstructural properties within the snowpack as it transitions to glacier ice, distinguishing itself by resolving vertical gradients and temporal changes in firn through one-dimensional numerical representations of physical processes such as compaction, heat diffusion, and vapor transport.
