Finite-temperature Lattice Dynamics
Finite-Temperature Lattice Dynamics is a theoretical framework within lattice dynamics that extends the harmonic or anharmonic vibrational analysis of crystal lattices to finite temperatures by incorporating statistical mechanical treatments of phonon populations and thermal displacements, thereby enabling the prediction of temperature-dependent thermodynamic and structural properties of solids.
