Finite-length Performance

Finite-Length Performance is a performance evaluation metric in channel coding and erasure coding that characterizes the behavior of a code under a specific, non-asymptotic block length, distinguishing it from asymptotic performance analyses by focusing on practical, finite-size effects such as error probability, decoding success rates, or overhead requirements in realistic communication or storage scenarios.
