Finite Temperature Path Integral

Finite Temperature Path Integral is a path integral formulation that extends quantum mechanical and quantum field theoretical descriptions to thermal equilibrium systems by employing imaginary time formalism with periodic or antiperiodic boundary conditions tied to the inverse temperature, thereby enabling the computation of partition functions and thermal expectation values through functional integration over closed trajectories in a Euclidean time domain of finite extent.
