Fido2 Authentication
FIDO2 Authentication is a cryptographic authentication protocol that enables passwordless, phishing-resistant user verification through public key cryptography and standardized web APIs, distinguishing itself from other multi-factor authentication methods by eliminating shared secrets and enabling seamless integration with Web Authentication (WebAuthn) and Client to Authenticator Protocol (CTAP).
