Fiber-optic Switches

Fiber-Optic Switches is a micro-electromechanical system that enables the selective routing of optical signals between input and output fiber channels by means of mechanically actuated alignment structures, distinguished from other optical switching methods by its use of MEMS-based physical movement to achieve low-loss, high-extinction-ratio switching in fiber-optic networks.
