Farquhar Model

The Farquhar Model is a biochemical model of photosynthesis that quantitatively describes the rates of carbon fixation in the Calvin-Benson cycle by integrating the enzyme kinetics of Rubisco and the regeneration rate of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate, distinguishing it from earlier empirical models through its mechanistic, process-based formulation.
