False Light Privacy

False Light Privacy is a privacy tort that consists of the public dissemination of substantially false or misleading information about an individual that places them in a highly offensive and objectionable light, distinguishing it from defamation by focusing on reputational or dignitary harm rather than factual falsity or reputational damage in the context of negligence or intent.
