Exportin-mediated Nuclear Export

Exportin-Mediated Nuclear Export is a nuclear transport mechanism in which specific cargo proteins or RNA molecules are selectively translocated from the nucleus to the cytoplasm through the nuclear pore complex via receptor proteins of the importin-β superfamily, collectively termed exportins, that recognize nuclear export signals in a RanGTP-dependent manner.
