Eutectic Solidification

Eutectic Solidification is a type of solidification process in which a liquid alloy of eutectic composition transforms isothermally into two or more intimately mixed solid phases, distinguishing it from other solidification modes by the simultaneous nucleation and growth of distinct phases from a single liquid at a fixed temperature.
