Ethical Self-respect

Ethical Self-Respect is a philosophical construct within the Philosophy of Black Identity that denotes a normative self-regard grounded in the recognition of one’s intrinsic moral worth and dignity as a Black individual, distinct from mere self-esteem by its foundation in ethical integrity, communal accountability, and resistance to ontological degradation.
