Escort-Based Trafficking is a form of sex trafficking in which individuals are exploited through the guise of legal escort services, distinguished from other forms of sex trafficking by its reliance on online platforms, third-party intermediaries, and the appearance of consensual, transactional relationships to conceal coercive control and commercial sexual exploitation.
