Equal Protection Standing
Equal Protection Standing is a legal doctrine within constitutional law that permits a party to challenge a statute or governmental action on the ground that, although the law may be constitutional on its face, its application infringes the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment by discriminating against the party in a manner not justified by a sufficient governmental interest.
