Environment Map Rendering

Environment Map Rendering is a method in image-based rendering that generates novel views of a scene by projecting a pre-captured spherical or cubic environment map onto a surrounding geometric proxy, distinguished from other approaches by its reliance on a single or sparse set of high-dynamic-range images to approximate complex lighting and distant scene geometry.
