Entrainment Ratio
Entrainment Ratio is a quantitative metric in fluid dynamics and atmospheric science that characterizes the rate of ambient fluid incorporation into a turbulent flow relative to the flow's bulk motion, distinguishing it from other mixing metrics by specifically quantifying mass or volume exchange at the interface of a propagating plume or jet.
