Enthalpy-driven Binding
Enthalpy-Driven Binding is a type of biomolecular interaction in which the favorable change in enthalpy, primarily due to the formation of non-covalent bonds such as hydrogen bonds, van der Waals interactions, and electrostatic attractions between a protein and its ligand, dominates the free energy of binding, thereby driving the association process.
