Ensemble Vocal Improvisation
Ensemble Vocal Improvisation is a collaborative vocal practice within music performance studies in which a group of singers spontaneously co-creates melodies, harmonies, and textures in real time, distinguished from solo vocal improvisation by its emphasis on emergent interplay, shared agency, and collective sonic negotiation among performers.
