Energy Dissipators

"Energy Dissipator" is a hydraulic structure designed to reduce the kinetic energy of flowing water downstream of dams, weirs, or chutes, thereby preventing erosive damage to the channel bed and banks by converting excess flow energy into heat and turbulence through controlled hydraulic jump, impact, or diffusion mechanisms.
