Energy Cascade Visualization is a computational visualization framework that specifically represents the transfer and distribution of kinetic energy across different scales in turbulent flows, distinguishing itself from other turbulence visualization methods by explicitly depicting the multiscale energy flux characteristic of the inertial subrange in accordance with Kolmogorov’s theory.
