Embodied Data Representation

Embodied Data Representation is an academic construct in immersive information visualization that refers to the design and implementation of data encodings in which the human body—either literally or through digital avatars—serves as the primary schema for mapping, expressing, and interacting with abstract data, thereby distinguishing it from traditional visual or symbolic representations by grounding data in corporeal experience and spatial interaction.
