Elongation Index

Elongation Index is a morphological particle shape characterization metric in civil engineering materials that quantifies the degree of elongation of aggregate particles by the ratio of their maximum to intermediate dimension, distinguishing it from other shape indices by focusing specifically on dimensional proportionality relevant to mechanical interlock and packing behavior in composite materials.
