Electronic Phase Transitions is a type of solid-state phase transition distinguished by a fundamental reorganization of the electronic structure of a material, such as changes in charge order, spin configuration, or orbital occupancy, that results in a qualitative change in its electronic properties without necessarily altering its crystal lattice symmetry.
