About

Electron energy-loss spectroscopy is an analytical technique that measures the energy distribution of electrons after they have interacted with a specimen. By analyzing the characteristic energy losses experienced by incident electrons, this method provides quantitative and qualitative information about the elemental composition, chemical bonding, electronic structure, and dielectric properties of materials, often at high spatial resolution within an electron microscope.
