Electromagnetic Potentials

Electromagnetic Potentials is a pair of mathematical field quantities—the scalar potential \( \phi \) and the vector potential \( \mathbf{A} \)—that together represent the classical electromagnetic field by yielding the electric and magnetic fields through specified space-time derivatives and are defined only up to gauge transformations.
