Electrolyte Screening

Electrolyte Screening is a theoretical construct in interfacial electrochemistry that describes the attenuation of an electric field at an electrode surface due to the redistribution of ions in an electrolyte, distinguishing it from vacuum or dielectric screening by its dependence on ionic concentration, charge, and thermal motion within the electrical double layer.
