Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution
Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution is a chemical process in which an electric current drives the catalyzed formation of molecular oxygen from water at an electrode surface, distinguished from other oxygen generation methods by its reliance on electrocatalysts to lower the activation energy of the anodic half-reaction in aqueous electrochemical systems.
