Eccentric Viewing Training

Eccentric Viewing Training is a visual function training method in low vision rehabilitation that systematically instructs individuals with central visual field loss to adopt and stabilize fixation using a non-foveal preferred retinal locus by deliberately directing gaze away from the target, thereby relocating the retinal image onto healthier parafoveal retina to improve functional vision.
