E Layer Propagation

E Layer Propagation is a form of ionospheric radio wave propagation characterized by the reflection and refraction of high-frequency electromagnetic waves specifically by the E layer of the ionosphere, distinguished from other ionospheric propagation modes by its occurrence at altitudes between approximately 90 and 150 kilometers and its dependence on solar illumination and sporadic ionization events.
