Dynamical Scattering

Dynamical Scattering is a theoretical framework in transmission electron microscopy that describes electron diffraction and image formation by accounting for the multiple, coherent interactions between the electron beam and the crystal lattice, distinguishing it from kinematic scattering by incorporating the full, iterative solution of the Schrödinger equation for electrons in periodic potentials.
