Dynamic Amplification Factor

Dynamic Amplification Factor is a dimensionless metric in structural dynamics that quantifies the ratio of the maximum dynamic response of a system to its static response under a given loading, thereby characterizing the amplification of structural response due to inertial effects under time-varying excitations such as base excitation, wind, hydrodynamic forces, or bridge live loads.
