Dust-driven Winds

Dust-Driven Winds is a theoretical model of stellar mass loss in which radiation pressure on newly formed dust grains in the extended atmospheres of cool evolved stars provides the dominant mechanism for driving outflows, distinguishing it from other wind models that rely primarily on gas-phase physics or pulsation alone.
